Petey reportedly has history as both a lesson horse and mounted patrol. He is gentle and kind. While starved upon intake, he continues to regain weight and strength. Petey will still require a thorough work-up by veterinary specialists to determine comfort and rideability as well as a trainer evaluation- but for now he is awaiting to be cleared from quarantine after being housed in close proximity with a Strangles-positive horse.
